Boilerplate language to use when filming in a public area.
Boilerplate language to use on placards if you’re filming in a public area or at a live event. Note that these are for reference only and you should always consult your legal department or other authority before filming in any public space or capturing any persons likeness on camera.

By entering this area you consent to appear in a video posted online and/or in PR materials for [NAME OF CLIENT OR BRAND HERE]
[NAME OF CLIENT OR BRAND HERE] and its agency [NAME OF AGENCY HERE] will be using video and photo footage taken at this event in advertising, promotional and public relations materials, including on the Internet and/or in PR/marketing materials.
By participating in this event, you irrevocably consent to be photographed and give [NAME OF CLIENT OR BRAND HERE] and [NAME OF AGENCY HERE] permission to use your name, image, likeness, voice and performance in connection with the advertising and promotion of [NAME OF PROJECT OR BRAND HERE] and its products/services or for any purpose whatsoever, in any media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, in perpetuity.

By entering these premises you hereby give permission to [PRODUCTION COMPANY] and [VENUE] to use any photographs and/or video without any further consent. These rules govern interviews, photographs (including digital pictures), and video intended for use in any medium or publication for the use of marketing, advertising, and/or a public relations nature, such as, but not limited to, internet, promotional videos, and other promotional materials.
I hereby grant [PRODUCTION COMPANY] and [VENUE] permission to interview me and/or to use my likeness in photograph(s) and/or video in any and all of its publications and in any and all other media, whether now known or hereafter existing, controlled by [PRODUCTION COMPANY] and [VENUE]. I will make no monetary, ownership, or other claim against [PRODUCTION COMPANY] and [VENUE] for the use of the interview and/or the photograph(s)/video.
