Just a Ticker is a lightweight web app for creating text tickers with crawling text – like a CNN scroll. Although there are already a bunch of ways to do this, the key thing we needed was the ability to update the data stream without visibly refreshing or restarting the data set.
Our use case tends to be thanking people for contributing or commenting during live shows, so in this system you can add and publish entries which are then appended to the end of the current set of entries, and continually modify the entries in the same manner.
This provides a secondary clean fullscreen output window to bring the ticker into a broadcast switcher, VMIX, OBS, etc. No other bells & whistles, it's... just a ticker.

After creating a new ticker, you receive an email with the URL and password.
If you forget your Ticker URL, one click will send an email with all your active tickers.
